Inter: strong at home, shaky in Europe
Inter won the title last season, finishing 17 points ahead of Milan, and their domestic form has carried on. Europe is a different story: they lost 4–3 at home to Club Brugge in midweek and are still without a Champions League point.
Malen leads the Capocannoniere race
Donyell Malen has six league goals for Roma, and scored twice against Real Madrid in the Champions League too. Lautaro Martínez, Cagliari's Daniel Maldini, Frosinone's Antonio Raimondo and Monza's Gustavo Varela have four each. Track the race on our Serie A top scorers page.
Amorim's Milan rebuild
Ruben Amorim is now in charge at AC Milan, who sit fifth on 12 points. Gonçalo Ramos is one of the players expected to challenge for the scoring title, alongside Napoli's Rasmus Højlund and Como's Nico Paz.
The new order
Roma and Como both qualified for the Champions League last season, a shift many in Italy saw as the end of Juventus's long era of dominance. Cagliari, fourth, are the surprise package so far.
Napoli's slow start
Napoli are eighth in Serie A and have lost both Champions League games. They host Bodø/Glimt on Tuesday.
