Premier League table 2026-27 after matchweek 6: City perfect, Everton unbeaten and who's struggling

Six matchweeks into the 2026-27 Premier League season, the table already tells some clear stories — and a few surprising ones. Here is where every key club stands before matchweek 7. For the up-to-the-minute standings, see our live Premier League table.

The title race: City perfect, Arsenal close

Manchester City have won all six games under new manager Enzo Maresca and lead on 18 points. Their wins include a 3–0 victory over Liverpool and a 1–0 win at Old Trafford in the Manchester derby.

Arsenal are three points behind on 15. Brighton sit third and have been the league's entertainers, scoring 18 goals in six games.

The surprise package: Everton

Everton are unbeaten and have conceded only five goals. They are level on 10 points with Chelsea, who are playing their first season under Xabi Alonso.

The middle: Leeds and Ipswich impress

Leeds United are seventh with nine points. Promoted Ipswich Town also have nine points, the same as Liverpool — whose total is their lowest at this stage since 2022/23. Manchester United are 13th with six points and are winless in five games in all competitions.

The bottom: three clubs still without a win

Bournemouth, Tottenham and Fulham are still looking for their first league win of the season. Bournemouth are 18th, with eight fewer points than at the same stage last season, and Sunderland are 17th after three straight defeats.

The promoted clubs

All three newcomers have had good moments. Coventry City beat Newcastle 4–1 for their first home Premier League win in 25 years, Hull City made a strong start before a four-game winless run, and Ipswich have been solid. Read more in our promoted clubs analysis.
